Enjoy a travel in time while strolling around the historical grounds of Filmstaden. Filmstaden was built in 1919 and during 80 years, groundbreaking art was created here. This is where legends such as director Ingmar Bergman and actresses Ingrid Bergman and Greta Garbo used to work, the two actresses made their debut here. Eight buildings still remain from the dream factory days. We provide guided tours in Filmstaden in English, French or German.
Price: SEK 2 500 plus VAT.
A guided tour around Filmstaden weekdays before 5 PM. This tour takes approx. an hour and is mostly out doors.
Book a guided tour – with a visit in Bergman’s cinema
You may also add a visit to the Bergman screening room to the guided tour. The Bergman screening room is located in the same building as the cinema, which is now called Filmstaden Råsunda. The cinema has been built underneath one of the studios in Filmstaden, called Studio 2, or Lilla ateljén. In this small screening room where 25 people can be seated, we will show you some of the most famous scenes from Swedish film history.

A guided tour with a visit in Bergman’s cinema, weekdays before 5 PM. The tour takes approx. 1,5 hours.
Afterwards, you may want to visit Portvaktsstugan – the Gate Keeper’s Lodge – which is where our café is open on weekends. The café serves waffles during week ends and also has a small exhibition dedicated to the Swedish films of the 30s, 40s and 50s.
Price: SEK 60 per person (incl. VAT)
Coffee/tea with cakes in Portvaktsstugan. Available for groups consisting of at least 15 persons, in combination with a guided tour.

The café is also available during our opening hours, Fridays to Sundays, 11 AM to 6 PM. The café is closed in June 17 – August 8.
Guided tours in English
On August 11 och August 18 there is a guided tour in English at 3 PM. Tickets for SEK 100 per person are available in the café.
Listen to our audio guide while walking around the area! The tour takes about 30 minutes, and you are welcome to rent an audioguide in the waffle café in the doorkeeper’s lodge.
